Cosmo: on Campus Tour

Calling All College Students!

GOAL:

Cosmo’s Glam Squad brought the pampering to campus! Cosmo visited 10 Barnes &Noble on campus bookstores for a fabulous day of fun, including L’Oréal Paris mini manicures, makeovers, hair consultations, and more to generate female consumer awareness and lead acquisition for Cosmopolitan Magazine and their advertising sponsors.

THE SOLUTION:

The Cosmo on Campus Tour visited 10 campuses across the country reaching thousands of female college students with an interactive beauty experience. Barnes & Noble College Marketing focused on engaging students through social media outlets, hand-to-hand delivered invitations, signage in high traffic areas on-campus and in stores, in store TV ads, and featured branded coffee sleeves at the event.

 THE SUCCESS:

  • Reach: 600K+ students
  • Total program impressions: 104 million+
  • Event traffic: 1,850+ per event
  • Sweepstakes entries/surveys: 206 per event
  • Completed activations/product giveaways: 1,300+
  • Contact information collected: 367 per event
