Bookstores are transformed into stress-free zones during Barnes & Noble College’s April and December De-Stress Fests.
The Experience: The closing weeks of the term can be extremely challenging for students, especially with final exams on the horizon, graduation, and packing up to travel home or to a new city and new job.
Barnes & Noble College will help ease this stress with our in-store De-Stress Fest events, where students can take a break from studying and unwind with fun activities, music and giveaways. Attendees can participate in meditation and relaxation sessions, visit with pet therapy dogs, and have a few laughs. They walk away refreshed and energized — and with a bag full of goodies like stress balls and snacks.

The Opportunity for Marketers: These events provide access to students when they are relaxed and looking to fill their heads with something new and fresh. Snack foods, beverages, and personal products are very popular at these events. Students also look for travel and make-up products — and things they can enjoy after they finish the term.
We’re currently accepting brand partners for our upcoming April 2017 De-Stress Fests. Sampling programs, sponsorships, in-store advertising, and product demos will put brand messages and products front and center on more than 290 college campuses.
